Treorchy Sewing Enterprise provides mail order retail and other services to you through this website and those online services are provided to you on the basis of these terms and conditions. Please note that they may be modified from time to time without notice to you and you will be deemed to have accepted any modifications if you continue to use this website after any modifications have been posted on it. When you use Treorchy Sewing Enterprise's website or any of Treorchy Sewing Enterprise's online services you may be advised that special guidelines or rules apply. Unless otherwise stated, these guidelines or rules form part of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to all users (including casual browsers) whether or not the registration process has been completed. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, but they do not affect your statutory rights. 2 Descriptions of products and prices
Treorchy Sewing Enterprise's products are produced using machinery and many are made by hand. As a result whilst products follow a design, human error and machinery error can sometimes occur. The product you receive however will match the product pictured on this website or to those supplied previously or as part of the same shipment. However, should an item received be inadequate, Treorchy Sewing Enterprise will investigate and replace. Whilst Treorchy Sewing Enterprise endeavours to ensure that all pictures, descriptions, specifications and illustrations on this website are correct, they are provided for guidance only, so as to present a general idea of our products, and we reserve the right to alter them. They do not form part of these terms and conditions. We try our hardest to ensure that the colours are reproduced as accurately as possible, but we cannot control the technical issues concerned with rendering images through the use and performance of the different browsers, browser environments and screens that you view the site on.
Prices quoted on this website are indicative only and are subject to change. All prices on this website are inclusive of United Kingdom VAT but exclude packing and delivery.
Treorchy Sewing Enterprise is under no obligation to provide any product to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a sales order, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as mis-pricing.
3 Credit Card Security
We use a third party payment provider called "Sage Pay" on our website. Sage Pay is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that they comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and MasterCard. If you have processed your order online using the payment pages hosted by Sage Pay, please locate and click on the padlock image which can be found on our payment pages to confirm that your details are collected in a secure environment.
Once you have entered your card details, Sage Pay will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party. We, ourselves, do not hold any credit details from this site.
We use a third party payment provider called “VeriFone” in our shop and in our office for your mail orders. VeriFone is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that they comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and MasterCard.
Once you have given us your card details for your mail order, VeriFone will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details are stored safely.
4 Currency
All prices quoted are British Pounds Sterling, and all purchases will be charged in British Pounds Sterling.
5 Ordering Outside the UK – Customs Duty and Sales Tax
5.1 If you request deliveries to a non-European Union Country, please note:
Your purchase will be UK Value Added Tax exempt, and 20% will be deducted from the cost of your item on checkout.
You may have to pay import duty and sales tax in the country of importation, which will be charged by the importing country's customs.
5.2 If you place an order for delivery outside the UK
They may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
6 Holidays
Our factory is open most days except for two weeks over the Christmas period including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
7 Liability
Total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by us to you. We shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty, in contract or in any other way. We cannot accept any liability as a result of any failure to comply with specific instructions set out on this site. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.

Treorchy Sewing Enterprise may provide or third parties may provide links to other websites or resources. These are provided purely as a matter of convenience and we do not endorse the contents of those websites. We are not responsible for the availability or privacy practices of those websites, nor will we be liable in any way for any loss or damage which you may suffer by using those websites. 9 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Treorchy Sewing Enterprise and hold Treorchy Sewing Enterprise harmless from and against any losses, claims, actions or demands (including any legal fees incurred in connection with any such loss, claim, action or demand) resulting from your misuse of this website or Treorchy Sewing Enterprise's online services or your breach of these terms and conditions.
10 Virus Protection and Compatibility
While certain precautions have been taken to detect computer viruses and ensure security, Treorchy Sewing Enterprise cannot guarantee that the website is virus-free and secure. We will not be liable for any loss or damage which occurs as a result of any virus or breach of security. We do not give any warranties as to the compatibility of the website with your computer systems, software and/or hardware. 11 Method of Payment
If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, please give your card number, expiry and the security code. We accept most cards including Visa Debit, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We are happy to accept credit card orders from overseas. We do not invoice for any item until it is ready to be despatched. Back ordered items are not invoiced until they are despatched. Payment may also be made by cheque payable to Treorchy Sewing Enterprise Ltd.
12 Title Claim
These goods remain the property of Treorchy Sewing Enterprise Ltd until such time as they are paid for. The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery but the ownership of the goods shall remain with us until full payment has been received from you.
13 Copying
Treorchy Sewing Enterprise are members and support the aims and objectives of ACID (Anti Copying In Design) www.acid.uk.com.
All copyright, design rights and other intellectual property rights in our designs and products (and in the images, text and design of this website) are and will remain the property of Treorchy Sewing Enterprise. Any infringement of these rights will be pursued vigorously. All designs shown in our catalogues are original designs by Treorchy Sewing Enterprise Ltd and are protected by copyright. In the event of any unauthorised copying we are entitled to take legal proceedings against the customer, wholesaler or manufacturer.
14 Customer Service
Looking after the needs of our customers is our primary concern. On the rare occasions where there might be a problem with an incorrect dispatched order or the merchandise is damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately. We promise a speedy response with friendly and helpful service.
15 General
If any of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid then that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain fully enforceable. No waiver by Treorchy Sewing Enterprise of any term shall be deemed to be continuing or shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other term. You are not permitted to reproduce, sell or exploit for any commercial purpose any part of this website or Treorchy Sewing Enterprise's online services.
